Thermoforming is a heating and shaping process used to form elastomers into 3D shapes.  It is ideal for forming film into simple to complex shapes.  Coupled with RF welding, 3D balloons can be fabricated with high body to neck diameter ratio by forming two halves and RF welding together. This process is best for low to medium high production levels.
