Dip Molding and Casting is the process of dipping or coating of a positive mold in a resin solution, allowing curing and then, de-molding of the component. Dip molding is ideal for making thin walled, highly compliant balloons; coating stents & wires; and casting specialty films. The process also does not create any seams or mold parting lines on the components. Dip Molding is optimal for quick prototypes and is a process for large volume production.
